AllyOne’s eCommerce allies:

Allyone Featured Partners for Q1 2019, BigCommerce, Square

Business friends ask me about the technology I use and recommend. As I’ve written before, as a consultant I strive to remain solution-agnostic. When businesses ask “what is the best such and such…?” my reply is that a better approach is asking yourself “what is the best match for my business needs?”

Over time, however, it’s very difficult not to identify some reliably good solutions. Someone recently suggested I share what those favorites are. As I looked into it, I realized I’m going to have to write a series on Featured Partners, or, as I like to call them my eCommerce business allies.

This post lists some of my favorite providers.

eCommerce Websites in Bigcommerce

While I like working on both Shopify and WooCommerce, BigCommerce is my preferred SaaS eCommerce platform.

I’ve found it’s the best choice for many of my clientele, because it allows eCommerce businesses to scale up to enterprise-level sales and functionalities with minimal, if any additional expense. The uninformed criticize it for having fewer apps than competitors, but that’s because it has more built-in features than other platforms. In fact, they are now launching a built-in shipping solution, a game-changer in the industry. And with their recent switch to Google Cloud, stores are achieving industry-leading speed on top of their already famous uptime.

Square-inc-logo Aff link

Square holds a special place in my heart, as it was the very first payment processing I used back when I started my first eCommerce venture back in 2008, Chronic Cycling, a cycling gear, digital-native brand (before that was a thing. 😉 )

Square is ideal for Brick-and-Mortar stores that need a unified implementation of eCommerce, payment, Point-of-sale, and inventory systems. And with their quick setup, fast payments and no surprise fees, they’re a favorite of many businesses. But Square has come a long way from the little square device one would plugin to a phone to accept payments, to a global powerhouse in the payment processing world, with robust security and merchant friendly policies.

We’ve partnered with Square to provide our clients a payment option that meets their omnichannel needs. Sign up through our link , where they’re offering omnichannel payments, $1,000 of free processing, and custom rate evaluations.

Stay tuned, more featured partners, AllyOne’s own allies, will be listed in future posts. In the meantime, head over to the technology links to learn more.

*Affiliate links allow AllyOne to collect a commission on, or be recognized for, any sale generated by the referral. This does not affect your price or benefits, it just modestly compensates AllyOne for providing you with this information.
